Liza Stevens wrote and illustrated Not Today Celeste! after noticing that, although parental depression is widespread, there did not seem to be many books for children about the issue. Not Today, Celeste! was published in 2016 by Jessica Kingsley Publishers.

Following the book's popularity, especially in schools, Liza adapted the story into a live, musical puppet performance, and created all the puppets and props herself. With the support of the Charlie Waller Memorial Trust, the show has now been toured to over 40 primary schools in Brighton, Hove and West Sussex. The show is followed by workshops in the children’s classrooms led by the puppeteers, in which the children get the chance to ask the puppets questions, and we discuss mental health and wellbeing.

Play written by Liza Stevens. Music by Al Start. Puppets/props by Liza Stevens. Performed by Joni Rae Carrack, Nix Wood, Kaile Lucas, Daisy Jordan and Al Start.
