This is a giclee digital print of an original cut out collage painting I made titled, "Monkeys and Men". In early 2020 I created a series of cut out collage paintings inspired by childhood memories of a group of capuchin monkeys, held captive in a pub garden near my home town in the ‘90s. I went back to the pub as an adult and saw that the monkeys were no longer there. I can only hope they had been rescued from what would have certainly been a miserable life, and are now in a sanctuary somewhere.
The image itself measures approximately 23 x 18cm, and is on an A4 sized paper. The image is matt and is printed on heavyweight high quality paper.
